2008 Bracket Finals Highlights
Devin Gilreth our 2008 Division 2 East Junior Dragster World

Milton Agee Driving for Glen Hardy took Best Appearing
 
Special Thanks to the Hawkins and Coolies for decorating their
Golf Carts, which won the Best Team Spirit Award
 
Amae Gilreth runnered up in the Gambler's Race
We Finished 6th overall in the final team points at Darlington.
This year was the most fun and we had the best team spirit
I have seen at a bracket race. We didn't get to do much racing,
but the food was great, and the comradery was better.
Thanks to everyone who participated in the 2008 Bracket Finals,
see you in 2009.
 
2008
-
Must be an IHRA Member to run points. IHRA
Membership is $60, which you must have to go to bracket finals
-
Bracket Finals are in Darlington SC.
-
Signing up for Points at WS automatically puts
you in the Summit Super Series.
-
New 330 timers and infrareds times down track.
-
Only 8 races for the 2008, and no race will be
dropped.
-
Everyone who attends all 8 races will get 5 bonus
points.
General Track Rules
-
All IHRA general rules and regulations apply.
-
First car out has lane choice except for the bye car (Bye car always has lane choice).
-
Cards are drawn first round for possible bye,
every round proceeding best reaction time is used if bye is
needed.
-
Dial-in's are accepted if stage bulb has been
lit.
-
Once in staging all cars must commit to lane and
remain there, unless instructed by a track official.
Violation of this rule may result in disqualification.
-
Track Operator has final say on ruling and
outcomes.
