Second I dont know the guy that was in the blue 68-70 nova but I have never in all my years of racing seen someone so dedicated and serious about what he was doing. The car stayed clean out of all the runs I heard he was 00 and dead on everyday hit and that takes confidence in yourself. If anyone has a way to contact this young man I would like to talk with him

August 31, 2014, 05:40:25 PM Guess Who says: naw man you aint no cheater, you just aint been bracket racing long. nothing on the flyer said you couldn't change your dial, although most do want you to run pretty close to your qualifying time . that type of quick 8 stuff is mostly for the spectators so don't worry about it.
August 31, 2014, 11:42:39 AM Guess Who says: Had a great time yesterday even though i couldn't find a green light to save my life. Evidently im a cheater bc I qualified my car for quick 8 and then defined to run my usual dial. After 3 redlights we cheered on team Peeler. Funny how those complaining how I qualified couldn't have made the quick 8 had there only been 8 cars. Anyway great track prep Mr. Butler great day at WS. Props to all the finalist and winners. Maybe mustang will be ready at Carolina.
August 25, 2014, 12:02:43 PM Guess Who says: Like to give Doug Taylor a shout out on his track Championship at Union County Dragway in the footbrake division Doug Taylor is a 70 year old veteran racer.Rumor was that this may be his last season behind the wheel. But winning back to back races and pulling off a Championship, I would say that it may be hard to get him out from behind the wheel.Doug has spent most of his time focusing on son Jeff Taylor's quest to win titles and was very successful on achieving track championships for him.Doug & Jeff has also spent a lot of time tunning their car's.They have been very successful with carbs and creating a consistant combination. If you are interested in fine tunning your car check with Doug at D&J Carbs.Congrats again to Taylor Racing Team.........Fatrabbit Inc. Old Guy's Can Still Get It DONE!!!!
