August 21, 2014, 01:26:22 AM Guess Who says: The folks at Greer Dragway are having another door car/dragster race this weekend. The last one was very successful and I hope some of our Ware Shoals Dragway racer's come out and support the race.2 time Track Champion Shane Maddox will be trying to add to his points lead in his quest to win his first ever Championship since graduating from the jr dragster ranks.Paul Mosley,David Hall,Daryl Childress, and Mark Davis are in hot pursuit.Any thing can happen so we will keep every one posted. In Foot brake some folks are locked in top 10 for the Bracket Finals team and others aint.Driver's are focusing on getting one more shot at parking there car in the CompX National sponsored winner's circle by Mike Smart photography in front of the new Greer Dragway sign.Last week Travis Imhof
was having Mustang withdrawls, but was able to finally get the monkey off his back and post a final round appearance with the new vega. Look for him, Sammy Neese,Austin/Phill Durham and all the other top contender's to battle for victory lane..In Jr's Parker Dotson extended his lead over Adam Tapp with 4 to go.It appears to be a 2 man race and probably will go down to the wire. The Greer Dragway Family will have heavy hearts this weekend with the loss of Dottie Brannon. On behalf of the Ware Shoals Dragway Staff and Racer's we offer our most sincere condolences to Terry Brannon and Family. Also to the Greer Dragway family as well.I know a lot of people were very close to Kevin and we will keep every one in our thoughts and prayer's.And that's THE RACE REPORT........Fatrabbit Inc.

August 18, 2014, 05:14:05 PM Guess Who says: I don't know about y'all but I had a good time Saturday. I enjoyed the 2 races. The track was great most of the day.. Just wont to say congrats to everyone! And congrats to Erik winning his first race Saturday!! See all of y'all on the 30th!!!
August 18, 2014, 12:34:20 PM Guess Who says: Thanks for all of the congrats for Erik winning his first race and backing it up with a second race in the same day. That's what a lot of prayers and a little luck will get you. He had a pretty tough year up until this point. As Grassman put it " at least one of the 3H racing members know how to race" and I cannot argue that point. I am a VERY proud Papa!
August 18, 2014, 11:05:26 AM Guess Who says: Thanks that makes sense, I forgot about the 1 point buy back. I always said a brain is a terrible thing to waste.
My sympathy to the Hawkins family.
August 18, 2014, 10:49:33 AM Guess Who says: and 2 points for showing up..............
August 18, 2014, 10:48:44 AM Guess Who says: You get 2 points per rnd win......then if you buy back and win a round you only get 1 point per rnd win.....It has created tight racing and plenty of drama for the last 4 years that i have been involved......Hope that helps......Hope to see every one at the Iron Man Race.............Fatrabbit Inc.........Prayers sent for Roger Hawkins and family.......
August 18, 2014, 09:42:34 AM Guess Who says: Hey Fatrabbit, Maybe be you can help explain how the points were accumulated in race 1. I'm pretty confused and usually that's not unusual for me. Now just to get this out in the open I don't don't have a dog in the hunt. But how is it that the man who won the race received fewer points than drivers who did not. I expect that the winner would receive the maximum points. Clearly I'm wrong. Maybe you or someone can explain this for me? ThanksView Shout History
